Walden’s Background
Originally founded in the Auvergne region of France in 1951, the company is now led by Stéphane Baudry, the grandson of the original founder, Marcel Baudry. The Walden Group benefits from 70 years of experience in healthcare and pharmaceutical logistics and transport. It is today Europe’s market leader with its own logistics centers in 12 countries, more than 6,000 employees and a turnover of 1.9 billion euros in 2021.

Walden’s vision is ultimately to provide a unique, highly flexible, and reliable ecosystem of solutions to support healthcare product distribution. The goal is to be a one-stop-shop service from manufacturer to patient, covering all aspects and problematics of the healthcare supply chain.

In 2021, we established our internal CSR programme called “Walden Cares”. Year 1 has a strong charity element as we strive to positively impact the lives of the communities in which we serve. Our overarching theme is “Children”. Our teammates have raised and continue to raise money to support locally selected charity partners.
